Many more schools are recognising the growing respect among consumers and Higher Education institutions for the International Baccalaureate Programme.  Setting up a quality IB Diploma programme requires forward planning, significant investment in resources both physical and human plus an effective communications programme to bring everyone involved to a similar level of familiarity with the aims and objectives of the IB. 

Having been responsible for successfully introducing the IB Diploma programme into three international schools in Spain, Indonesia and Oman, I am well-versed to offer quality advice and support to schools as they embark on the authorisation process and in the key initial years of implementation.  In addition, I can relate readily to the issues involved in introducing such a programme into UK State schools or colleges, having had extensive experience as a Headteacher in both Scotland and England.

   
To advise schools considering, or in the process of, applying for IB Diploma accreditation based on three previous successful applications as a school Principal (1989 Spain; 1996 Indonesia; 2004 Oman);
To advise on staffing structures and timetabling arrangements required for implementation of IB Diploma;
To be available for consultation by staff on the requirements and philosophy of the IB Diploma programme;
  To be available to talk to groups of parents on the attributes of The IB Diplomma programme.
To advise on the two year scheduling of school-based assessment for Diploma students;
To advise on setting up effective CAS and TOK programmes;
To advise on the management of the Extended Essay;
